Lecture Proposals Now Open!

Lecture proposals can be submitted from April 1 to July 31. The organizing committee will select proposals for the final program. Successful authors will be notified and results will be announced on August 9 and their authors will be notified. Speakers are registered automatically and exempt from the conference fee.

Registration of non-presenting participants will take place from May 1 to October 26, or until capacity is reached. The conference fee will be determined before the start of registration.

We are finalizing the accompanying program of the conference!

These days we are finalizing the accompanying program of the conference. You can look forward to several exhibitions: a practical exhibition on alchemy by Czech and Moravian alchemists, accompanied by Pavel Langer’s alchemical tarot. There will also be exhibitions of Vodou drapo by Veronika Šulcová and artworks by Ksenia Alexeeva and Lenka J. Táborská. On Saturday, Lenka Táborská will also perform her piece “Svlečka.” The program will once again include the traditional mystical dances by the dance group Friday Dancers.

On Saturday and Sunday mornings, tea rituals will take place. On Saturday it will also be possible to taste teas from the Literary Tearoom Skleněná Louka. Two social evenings await us. Publishers Trigon, Vodnář, Sol Noctis, as well as small publishers and authors will offer their books at a discounted price. There will be book signings with authors of occult literature. The famous Czech hypnotist and mentalist Jakub Kroulík will also be present – on Saturday evening he will be moving among the guests, demonstrating hypnosis and other of his arts to those interested!

The talks have been selected — the conference program is ready!

The selection of talks has concluded, so we can now present the program for this year’s conference. The accompanying program is still being finalized and some changes may occur for organizational reasons before the conference date, but you can already see which talks to look forward to.

The selection of lectures for this year’s edition of the *Tea at Mephisto’s* conference is currently underway. We are choosing based on the abstracts submitted by the speakers. And it’s a damn challenging process!

All the abstracts are interesting and of high quality. We have received over 30 of them! But that’s far more than we have space for.

We wish our conference could be inflatable, but science has yet to find a way, and magic, it seems, is failing (due to the retrograde Mercury, of course!).

So keep your fingers crossed that we choose well from the proposals. You can already look forward to a conference full of truly excellent lectures!

A reminder: Thursday, July 31st is the deadline for the following:

– July 31st is the LAST DAY to take advantage of the reduced conference fee. Starting in August, the fee will increase to 42,61 EUR. You only have a few days left to pay at the discounted rate.

All proceeds from the conference fees go toward organizing the three-day event. The sooner the funds are collected, the easier it is to finalize the budget – which helps us create a better event, provide better refreshments, side programs, etc. That’s why we aim to reward those who pay earlier.

– July 31st is also the LAST DAY to submit lecture proposals. So if you would like to present a talk or share your research at the conference, you have only a few days left to submit your proposal.
